Silkscreens

I printed at a cooperative artists’ print shop in NYC, Manhattan Graphics Center, from 2000-2015. I experimented with all kinds of print processes. When I took a silk screen class with Margaret Nussbaum, I fell in love with that media. Most printmakers use the silk screen process to print editions – a group of identical prints. Instead of that, I printed layers of diverse and changing images, each print with a different number of layers and in varied colors so that the prints each became one of a kind. These are a few of the prints made during that period.
